A front-loading fine art paper feed makes insertion easier, reducing the likelihood of damage and removing the need for space behind the printer. In response to photographers and designers’ feedback, Epson has developed the R3000’s new features with convenience in mind. This printer makes professional-quality output accessible, with its convenient high-capacity inks which are perfect for medium print runs, and fits even the smallest desk space with its compact footprint.
CISS FOR EPSON STYLUS PHOTO R3000 FOR ANDROID
Now available for Android & iPhones as well.Epson today launches its latest A3+ photo printer aimed at the professional and advanced amateur: the Epson Stylus Photo R3000. Reach me on the World's best messenging system, BlackBerry Messenger PIN:24BDF528 ( ) Unfortunately they do not have a system for the R3000 9-ink printer (yet?). Regarding reservoir heights on various CIS, my favourite by far is the InkJetFly "Bigfoot" system as it controls the head pressure at a constant no matter where the ink is in relation to print head: I am also using their inkset and it's quite good. The more you pull the carts on/off, the greater the likelihood the lower seals will deteriorate. I do like the IR simple ink reset chip system.no need to pull carts to perform the reset. But, after removing the needle, the plug does not fully seal the hole, so air can enter the system. I think this is due to the rubber plugs used on the fill-ports.the method to fill the ink initially is to draw out air through the fill port by hyperdermic needle through the rubber plug. Placing the reservoirs well above the ink head height doesn't really solve this for some of the carts. Several of the ink carts seem to create a suck-back situation, where air appears in the ink tube from the cart towards the reservoirs. I corrected the issue by replacing the bottle with one with a larger diameter cap so the ink input spigots were much further away from the air vent & I placed a small square of open cell foam covering the underside of the air vent.Ģ.

When ink flowed through one of the spigots, it would bubble up into the bottle, such that foam would start flowing out the small air vent hole in the lid. Waste ink bottle connection to the waste tubes as via two closely spaced spigots on the bottle cap. I am currently running the i-INK from IR on the r3000.ġ. with such system, just ensure that you do not want to place bottle higher than your print had several CIS systems over the years for different Epson printers (r1280, r2400, r3000). If you are going to use your own K3 inks with it, at least I can guarantee that there is no problem on the CIS system itself.Ģ50ml reservoirs should be O.K. Just for your information, I am using Inkrepublic R3000 i-INK CIS and inks for about a year, no clogs, streaks, splotches, it works really nice. Matt prints are superb.īoth companies should have good quality of inks and systems. The inks do have a slight bronzing effect on glossy paper, although on pearl it is not obviously noticeable. Both my monitor and printer have been profiled with CM and the prints are extremely good. Even after leaving my printer unused for quite a while I have had no blockage of the printhead. Marrutt inks are good and close to the oem originals and are the same inks as the 3000. The cartridges supplied for refill are adequate and the chip swap is easy. I would like to turn my R3000 into a serious print production beast so any help and advice would be most appreciated. This suction system for the i-INK with dampers seems intriguing but this idea of having to adjust the height of the reservoirs in relation to the print head as the levels go down seems a bit cumbersome to me. I like that the Marutt has 250ml reservoirs while the i-INK only has 100ml reservoirs. It is feedback on the actual systems that I am looking for.ģ: Ease of use - refilling, day to day quirks if any

I am not so concerned about the actual inks they provide since I have my own reputable USA made K3 inks.
